Dagger of Burning Blood

The blood dripped of the cold steel blade. Each drop making the slow fall towards the black stone floor. Each drop sending puff of smoke. She walked along in the long flowing robes. There dark black color seeming to pull the light in to it. A smug grin on her face. Her long fiery red hair cut short and spiked every which way. As she reached the heavy wooden door at the end of the hall. Stopping in front of it she raised the thin needle like dagger. She slammed it hard in to the door. It pierced the thick wood like flash. A small wisp of smoke started to pour out from around the dagger. Flames leaped out across the front of the door burning it rapidly.

"Knock knock." She said coolie. Her feet became blacked and ash covered as she stepped in to the room. An old man hauled in the far corner of the room.

"Please don't hurt me." He said his voice filled with fear. She sent him a smile that would make any crazy street person look sane. He seemed to grow smaller. She walked over to the large wooden desk; rummaging through the desk till she found a small book in the bottom dour.

"I will be taking this." She said as the dagger slid in to the top of the desk. It took no time at all before it went up in flames. She walked over to him. Kneeled down in front of him and locked eyes.

"You shouldn't take what isn't yours." The dagger sunk deep in to the old man's chest. The flesh and blood it touched as it passed by on its way to the heart; burned and blacked. As it entered the heart the man screamed with pain. The heart in his chest counted to beat as it sent waves of burning blood thought his body. Soon the heart turned to flames long with the rest of his insides. She stud up with a smile; turned and left the room.

"How could you have left this happen?" she shouted as she thought the book across the tiny room she found stud in. she had no problems on the way back. Other than a ground that quickly found himself in the afterlife. "How could you be so foolish!" she walked across the room in rage. But still in control of herself. She slid the dagger in to its glass sheath. The drips falling out of the small hole at the tip of the sheath to land in the fire place.

"If you fail me again. I will kill you."
