So I wrote some more to the zombie story but its starting to fall a part. So I think tonight I may set it aside and write something new. Just because I'm not sure i can make the 500 mark with it. What am i going to write about? I dont know at the moment. hopefully soon

Failed

I failed to make the 500 word mark last night. I got to 473 or something like that. I should or could have done another 50 words. But it was also 4am. I was dead tired. As long as this doesn't come a common things im ok with it.

Zombie

So i did write more on the zombie story. I didn't think i had more to say. I was a bit down about it but i did write more to it. I even almost forget to write and want to bed but just before i did. I was like I have to write! So I did.

Sunday and Monday

Sunday and Monday has come and gone. I had my normal Sunday off. It was nice. I wasn't sure how Monday writing would be. I really just made up that cop story on the fly and the zombie one was ugh. Monday night rolled around. I almost didn't write. I was like ah i dont need to. I can read that new book I just got. But I told my self No! i haven't missed a writing day since i started this and i wont start missing them now. I ended up writing more to the zombie story. Happy I was able to write.

Dead in the water

Last night I tired to write my zombie story. I added maybe 200 words if that to it before I failed to figure out where i was going. I also didn't really feel like I like the story. I was just ugh when i want to write it. I don't think right now I can write a zombie story. So 200 words isnt 500 words. So to make up for this lack of words. I opened up another word doc. Started a new with some random idea. Do i think this new story will go anywhere? I dont think so but never know. I did get to 500 words pretty easy.

It's sunday my day off. I think i will take today and figure out what my next move is for monday. Will i keep at one of the two story i have now or start a new? I should stick with one of the two i have now. But we shell see.

ugh

Hi, still doing 500 words. My zombie story is going alright. I'm still not working with an outline....i know next story was to have one. I fail. I am not even feeling like writing the zombie story. I dont know why. Nothing wrong with it. Maybe its the lack of where i'm going it really is just a story about family trying to make it. How hard can that be. have zombie attack have them run so on not to hard.
i dont know .....

zombie survival story

I started my next story last night. I also started a small outline for chapter 1. Unlike my last story that had no chapters this one will. It's a zombie survival story. I started it in first person but am not really liking the way it feels. I did write about 700ish words. I will write it in 3rd person tonight and see how it feels. Then go from there.

It's over

It's over. I finished my story last night. 6781 word or 21 pages. So here what I gathered from writing the Missing Cleric. That when having to met a minimum word count a day. I make up more. I try and add more plot line or more action points. This dosnt always work out for me. I a few time's I added a new character to the story. Most if not always just a very minor role. I added a crazy guy that told the main character he would have to kill the bad guy. My idea was to have the bad guy turn out to be the main guys young brother. It never happened. I just was all over the map. I forgot things I had added and made up other things.

So Now I'm going to try an outline. Try and keep a set goal and track of where I want to go. See how this works out for me. I will be starting my next story tonight. I don't have a working title or even an outline at the moment. I plan to work on both sometime today.

Next story

Another post on the same day...I know wow haha. Anyways I'm posting to give a hit of what my next story is going to be. A zombie story. yep another one of tons out there. But I like the idea some of it is inspired by another story. Its about a family of five. Mother, father, baby brother, Little sister and an older brother. About there family trying to make it in a world no longer under anyone control but the massive zombie hordes that roam around.

This story will have a outline and character profile. I hope to see what kind of impact it has on the story word count and flow of the story. So wish me luck ... not that I really think anyone is reading any of this.

Almost done

It was 1:50am when I started to write last night. It was so late and I was so sleepy but I was able to write. I just started the final fight with the 3 friends vs the sin eater. Today is sunday so its my day off so Monday should finish it up. Should end just under 20pages and about 7k words. so not bad for first story. it will be first one I will truly feel like I have finished. So that a nice plus.

The end is coming

So the end of my story is coming up. A few more days and it should be done. I know how its going to end for the most part. I plan to set it aside for awhile and start a new story but this time with an outline. Its sitting at 5500 words right now 16 pages. when all said and done be about 7000 words. give or take 500 words. anyways time for real work QQ

story going another way?

So I was writing last night and as I was working on my story. It had an odd change in it. I was thinking that I was going to go one way with it and now its flipped and kind of going another way. Its interesting way to go. Just not my first idea. I'm letting my self follow this story. I want to see where it takes me. Even if its down a bad story idea. but i did make the 500 words as i also do. thats all for now

Outlines?

Outlines? Hmm sure it sounds super useful. But its allot of extra work....will that is how I use to think. I still think that way. But last night I was writing my 500 words and found my self forgetting some of the info at the start of my story. Where towns are located, If I had named parts of the area around the town. Along with a few other things. I had read about outlines, plots, writing, and any other number of things to do with writing. Each book had a part about outlining. I know each author writes in their own way. But after I finish this story i'm working on now. I plan to try writing one with an outline done for it. Just to see how it impacts my writing and story.

Honeymoon is over

Monday wasn't to bad for writing. I did make the 500 word count. But I see my self growing a bit bored of my story. I knew this was going to happen. the honeymoon is over. There will be other parts of the story I will enjoy writing but for now. Im kinda ugh. I want to work on a new idea a new story. But thats ok. I will keep on this one till its done. its good for me to feel this way. anyways almost forgot to post and its almost 1am and i need to go write for today to. Bye

Sunday

So today is Sunday. It is my day off. Not from real work but from writing. I am giving my self 1 day off a week and it falls on Sunday. Why that day? I don't know but it did. Then i start up again on Monday. I did another 500ish words last night. So just over 3000 words for the week. sure doesn't seem like a super ton but if you think about it. I want from zero words a week to 3k. Happy times lol. The story is going good. I can see alot places i want to change. But i keep my self from going back. Must make it to the end before i can go back and rewrite. Thats all for now
